Craftsmanship
Details Make the Difference
At CORCOTTON, craftsmanship means paying attention to the elements that determine how a garment looks, feels, fits, and performs in everyday wear.
From the initial design to the finished product, we consider the relationship between fabric, construction, fit, stitching, finishing, and functionality.
Fabric & Feel
The character of a garment begins with its material.
Fabric influences comfort, drape, structure, appearance, breathability, and how a product behaves over time. Material selection is therefore considered as part of the intended design and use of each product.
Detailed fabric information, where applicable, is provided on individual product pages.
Fit & Proportion
A good garment is not defined only by its measurements.
Shoulder placement, body length, sleeve proportion, rise, width, and overall silhouette all contribute to the final fit.
Different CORCOTTON styles may therefore have different fit characteristics, including regular, relaxed, oversized, or other product-specific silhouettes.
Customers should refer to the Size Guide provided for the individual product before ordering.
Construction & Finishing
We consider details such as:
- Seam construction
- Stitching
- Edge finishing
- Closures and trims
- Shape and proportion
- Product consistency
- Overall finishing
The requirements may vary according to the type and intended design of each product.
Quality Is an Ongoing Standard
Quality is not a single inspection or statement. It is a process of reviewing products, customer feedback, materials, construction, and production standards over time.
As CORCOTTON develops, we will continue refining our standards with the objective of delivering products that meet the expectations associated with the brand.
